Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week

Justine O'Callahan, Brooklyn
Justine O’Callahan repeats as the Rookie of the Week by leading Brooklyn College (16-6; 8-3 CUNYAC South) to a 2-0 record last week. The Bridges beat Medgar Evers 62-58 and City Tech 69-27.
Against Medgar Evers, O’Callahan scored 12 points and contributed nine rebounds and six assists in a hard-fought four-point win. More impressively, she held the reigning CUNYAC Player of the Week Shakimba Pierre to just ten points. Against City Tech, she hit for ten points, five rebounds and three assists.
The regular season ends for Brooklyn this week as they travel to CSI on Wednesday night before hosting York College on Saturday afternoon.
