Melinda Santiago has been named the CUNYAC/Metro PCS Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week. The senior impressed against conference rival Hunter as Baruch won 3-0 and maintained their unblemished conference record. In the three sets, Santiago tallied 32 assists and 12 digs. The setter has been a significant factor throughout the season as Baruch’s hitters rank among the best in the conference in kills. The Bearcats are 10-4 on the season with an undefeated 5-0 conference record.
 
CUNYAC/Metro PCS Women’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Imani Dubois, Lehman
Setters/Freshman/Bronx, NY/JP Taravella
Imani Dubois has been named the CUNYAC/Metro PCS Women’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week. Over eight sets, she compiled 44 assists, 11 serving aces, and 19 digs as the Lightning were 2-0 in the week. Beginning the week in a 3-0 victory over Purchase, the rookie had 19 assists, four aces, and one kill. The following day against Sarah Lawrence, Dubois accumulated 25 assists, six kills, seven serving aces, and 19 digs as Lehman won a tough match 3-2.
