CUNYAC/Emblem Health Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week

Jennifer Dzurita has been named the CUNYAC/Emblem Health Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for the week of 1/14 - 1/20. The Glendale native placed first in each event she entered this week against John Jay and Western Connecticut State. Her races included the 100 Yard Freestyle (1:09.14), 200 Yard Freestyle (2:14.25), and the 500 Yard Freestyle (6:04:20). Hunter won both of its contests and is now 7-6 on the season.
 
CUNYAC/Emblem Health Women’s Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week
Rose Lee, Baruch
Freshman/Great Neck, NY/Great Neck South
Rose Lee has been named the CUNYAC/Emblem Health Women's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week for the week of 1/14 - 1/20. The freshman competed against Lehman this week and placed first in her lone two meets. The Great Neck native raced in the 100 Meter Medley Relay and 100 Meter Backstroke with a time of 2:14.00 and 1:15.78, respectively. Baruch is now 6-0 in the CUNYAC and 8-2 on the season. This is the third time Lee has won this award during the 2012-2013 season.
