Men's Volleyball 4/1/2013 4:41:37 PM Bearcats' McKee and Joksimovik Sweep Weekly Accolades CUNYAC/Con Edison Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week Jack McKee, Baruch Right Side/Junior/Bay Shore, NY/West Islip Jack McKee has been named the CUNYAC/Con Edison Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of 3/25 – 3/31. This marks the second time the junior has won the award this season. Over four games, the Bay Shore native competed in 11 sets while compiling 32 kills, 16 digs, and nine total blocks. The 2012 CUNYAC Tournament MVP began the week against Lancaster Bible with six kills, four digs, and three blocks assisted as the Bearcats won 3-1. Against #9 Stevenson, he racked up 16 kills, four digs, and a solo block as Baruch won 3-1. Continuing the strong week into conference play, he had an outstanding game in a 3-0 win over CUNYAC rival Hunter. The right side hitter attacked at a .467 clip with seven digs and four solo blocks as the Bearcats bested CUNYAC's number two team in the current standings. CUNYAC/Con Edison Men’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week Martin Joksimovik, Baruch Middle Blocker/Senior/Skopje, Macedonia/Rade Jovcevbski Korcagin Martin Joksimovik has been named the CUNYAC/Con Edison Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week of 3/25 – 3/31. The middle blocker was major component of an outstanding 4-0 week for the Bearcats. Through 11 sets the first year player hit .476 with eight digs and 14 total blocks. Versus Lancaster Bible, he hit an outstanding .462 with four digs and six total blocks as Baruch won 3-1. In a 3-1 victory over #9 Stevenson, the Macedonia native hit .353 with four digs and another four total blocks. Against conference opponent Lehman, he hit .500 and had three total blocks while playing just one set as the Bearcats went on to win 3-0.
