Arturo Ledesma of Baruch College is the Player of the Week as he hit .538 to lead the Bearcats (14-9-1, 7-0 CUNYAC) to a 2-2-1 week. Baruch tied SUNY Purchase 3-3 in 12 innings (darkness), lost to Manhattanville 14-10, then took two out of three against Lehman, winning 14-2 and 26-10 before losing 13-11.
For his part, Ledesma recorded at least one hit in each game. Against Purchase, he had a single with a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored. Against the Valiants, he tripled and homered, recording five RBI in the process. In the conference doubleheader against Lehman, he had eight hits in eleven official plate appearances with seven RBI and five runs scored. In the third Lehman game, he smacked four hits to drive in five runs while swiping two bases.

James Mardikos of CSI pitched seven strong innings to earn the win over conference foe CCNY last week to earn Pitcher of the Week honors. The Dolphins (14-14, 4-2 CUNYAC) beat CCNY 6-1 with the righthander on the hill. Mardikos scattered four hits allowing just one earned run while fanning six. On the season, he is 4-2 with an ERA of 5.66.
Baseball Rookie of the Week

Henry Roman earns Rookie of the Week honors for the second straight week, as this week he hit .304 over a span of six games. CSI (14-14, 4-2 CUNYAC) split with Mitchell (losing 9-8 before winning 11-5), fell to Mt. St. Mary 8-7, then took all three against CCNY 6-1, 7-4 and 12-6.
Roman was consistent, recording hits in all six games. He recorded nine hits on the week, including two doubles and a triple. He drove in ten runs while scoring eight times himself.
